A Simple Guide to Preparing Ceremonial Cacao

step 1

Boil the kettle and let it sit while you make your cacao. You want the water to be hot, not boiling.

step 2

Put 20g of shaved ceremonial cacao into your blender with 80-120ml milk of your choice.

step 3

Add your sweetener of choice to taste. We love using honey, maple syrup, coconut sugar or stevia.

step 4

Add 100-150ml of hot water.Then blend for 10s or until frothy.

    Malts up my mix

    I love that the rise vital blend adds a malty flavour to my morning cacao drink, it was such a twist the first time I tried it and really didn't expect such a lovely change up in my regular delicious chocolatey flavour.

    Rise vital blend

    I used this with my daily ceremonial cacao, And for me, I wasn't a fan of the altered taste to my drink. I like that it is in a tin though.

    Hey Dawn, thank you for your feedback. We understand that the flavour can be different to what you're used to. We'd recommend having a play with your recipe as you may want to add slightly more cacao or less of the blend to suit your tastebuds.

    The perfect addition to my morning Cacso!

    I've been struggling with low iron and fatigue so I purchased Rise to add to my morning Cacao. I can't drink coffee as caffeine doesn't agree with me but I've noticed an energy burst after drinking this that picks me up without the jitters. It also tastes great, I love the flavour and it just takes my cacao to another level.
